Yes, and this is exactly what the Zappi excels at. Its Eco+ mode monitors your solar PV output continuously and diverts any surplus directly into your car. You set a minimum charge rate and the Zappi handles the rest. In a good Somerset summer, many customers charge their car for essentially nothing. The Andersen A3 also supports solar integration.

The OZEV EVHS grant (up to £350) is available to flat owners, renters with dedicated off-street parking, and landlords. Homeowners in a single-unit property are no longer eligible (the scheme closed for them in 2023). We submit the application on your behalf. No extra admin for you.

A standard installation covers everything without any additional work or cost. To qualify, a few things need to be in place before we arrive.

If connecting to your consumer unit:

• It must be a metal consumer unit (not plastic)
• It must be able to accept a Type A RCBO
• Surge protection must already be fitted
• There must be a spare circuit available

If your consumer unit doesn't tick all these boxes, we can connect via a separate EV supply unit taken directly from your meter instead. Not sure? We check everything during the DNO application stage, so nothing will catch you off guard on the day.
